I’m a collage artist living in North Dorset, inspired by the rural and coastal landscapes of the South West. I’m self taught and love the charm of folk art, which shows through in my bold colours and playful, naïve style.
I create my collage papers using acrylic paint on a gel plate, mixing colours and creating texture with household and found items. These papers are torn or cut into scenes filled with houses and animals, many inspired by the thatched cottages dotted around Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.
